Although the beginning of April didn't bring any showers,
it did bring LOTs of cupcake orders.
many people showed appreciation this month...
Orders for doctor office staff, veterinarians + staff, volunteer meetings,
librarians, teachers
and, of course, Easter.
We are THRILLED to ALREADY have established SIGNATURE flavors!!!
While all of our cupcake flavors have been enjoyed, and we have received many compliments on the structure of our cupcakes - we hear the words "melts in your mouth" and "so light and moist and delicious" ALOT - there are already a select few that have left quite the first impression - acquiring a following consisting of repeat orders and referrals. Here are those cupcake creations, in no particular order...
top to bottom
hazelnut supreme :: a mildly chocolate cupcake with a "supreme Hazelnut filling*" + topped with a mildly chocolate + hazelnut frosting* then rolled in chopped Hazelnuts!!! This cupcake creation is choc full of real nuts and balanced with the perfect ratio of delicately mild chocolate = mmm, supreme!
bittersweet :: a golden vanilla* and bittersweet chocolate chip cupcake topped with Bittersweet chocolate Italian buttercream + topped with a generous drizzle of fine bittersweet chocolate
better than a brownie :: this creation has no leavening ingredients, creating a brownie-like texture with cupcake flair. EQUAL PARTS CHOCOLATE and CRUSHED PECANS + BUTTER, they are topped with a simple homemade whipped cream and a cherry on top.
these are our high-dome plastic carriers,
created to leave enough room so all of the frosting + toppings
stay on the cupcake where they belong!
to the left is one of our ClassiCups TM -
chocolate cupcake with tradtional cream cheese frosting and pastel sugar
on the right is another SIGNATURE FLAVOR:
the shaye :: This cupcake was created with Gina's vision and Shaye's self-proclaimed all things chocolate + pb candy created by you know who expertise*. A classic chocolate cupcake simply topped with Italian peanut buttercream frosting and a nod to it's inspiration.
*Peanut butter frosting (in my humble opinion) has a way of coming out too strong or too sweet, so I was hesitant to try and create a cupcake reminiscent of the not-just-a-flavor-combination, it's Americana So, when it came time to construct the frosting, I turned the reins Kitchenaid over to my 10 year old daughter, Shaye. The frosting she whipped up? PERFECT!! When you take a bite of this cupcake it tastes like it was baked by you know who themselves!

*golden vanilla is slightly different from a vanilla cupcake. Can't tell you, it's our secret ingredient ;)
