to make a long story short

there is what seems like a lifetime's worth of emotion between last Easter and this one.

I've changed my outlook. My values. My friends.

My parenting style, and my ambitions.

My marriage has been to the brink and is slowly crawling back from the edge. 

But I think the metaphor that best sums it all up, for now,

are my cupcakes.

i am now the best me i can be - 

though still a work in progress to be sure -

everything has been stripped down to it's most basic, purest form 

 and 

life,  like a cupcake with Italian buttercream  frosting,  is good.
